Here you can download the latest versions (for Windows) of some of the best programs I know. Btw don't write me and ask for registration codes for these programs. If the program is good enough to use regularly it's good enough to pay for. At least you can test them in advance in contrast to - well i.e. - M$-programs.

This site supports resuming so I suggest that you first of all download GetRight which lets you continue interrupted downloads from many servers. It's very easy : Just drag-and-drop a link to the file on the GetRight-icon or just right-click the link and choose "Copy link" in the popup-menu and GetRight will automatically connect to the server and begin the download.
